On October 27th, 2011, William Phoenix published an excellent article featuring Carrie Wade called – “Carrie Wade: Girls Rock!”. Part interview and part review, Mr. Phoenix discusses Carrie’s diverse musical background reaching back to her childhood, as well as reveal how Art has played a role in her life.
Carrie’s Album, “The Old Ways”, has received much attention the last several months including reviews on various other publications and websites including; Blue Railroad, Rootstime and Leicester Bangs.
Mr. Phoenix tells of the accomplishments Carrie and “The Old Ways”, have made including Carrie’s 2006 L.A. Music Award for Adult Alternative Female Singer/Songwriter of the Year and being included in Billboardӳ 2007 Ԕop 500 EntriesԠof their World Songwriting Contest.
